Obituary of Dora Lou Graves

Age 79 of Mt. Morris died Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Family will receive friends at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services on Wednesday, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Dora was born November 26, 1935, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil and Eleanor Palmer. She married Duane Graves in 1957, and he has preceded her in death. Dora was a Lifetime Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #8236. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, gardening, and camping. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra Shannon, Richard Graves, Esther and husband, Christopher Spencer and Paula Graves; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; and several nieces; nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane; one brother and three sisters.
