John Frank McGivern Jr., of Flint, Michigan, age 63, died, Thursday, January 15, 2015. Cremation has taken place with private services to be held at a later date. Those desiring may consider Memorial contributions can be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
John was born July 15, 1951, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Wanda (Smith) McGivern. He graduated from Gladwin High School. John was self employed selling antiques and collectibles. In his spare time, he loved to fish and hunt. He was a joyous, caring and generous man.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, John III and wife, Pam McGivern; sister, Anna and husband, Ron Kettler; brother, James and wife, Kate McGivern and many friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Tuck.
