Obituary of Patricia Kaye Rau

RAU, Patricia Kaye of Mt. Morris, Michigan, age 60, died, Friday, January 16, 2015, at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at 11:00 am, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 19, 2015, at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm with Rosary at 6:00 pm, and Wednesday at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Reverend Father Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Patricia was born January 2, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, the Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith and Mavis (VanSickle) Rau. She attended Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School where she graduated with the Class of 1973. She and Dave Neumann were united in marriage on April 13, 2006, in Mt. Morris. Patricia worked for General Motors Flint Assembly. She belonged to UAW Local # 598. Patricia loved watching sports and traveling. She was a passionate and loving woman. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dave Neumann; two sons, Michael and wife, Tracy James, Terry and wife, Kelly James; step-son, David Jr. and wife, Kim Neumann; six brothers and sisters, Bill Rau, Becky Kaufman, Vicky Moore, Roxanne Bentley, Tom Rau, and Doreen Fulcher; six grandchildren, Taylor James, Dalton James, Codey James, Collin James, Brandon Neumann, and Anthony Neumann. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.
