Obituary of Charles "Chuck" Wayne Boggs

Age 52, of Mt. Morris, died Monday, March 9, 2015, at his home. The funeral service will take place 10:00 am, Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Craig Dockery will officiate with burial to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Chuck's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm; Friday, from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions can be made to National Kidney Foundation or Veteran Affairs Hospital in Ann Arbor. Envelopes can be found at the funeral home. Charles was born February 14, 1963, in Seco, Kentucky the son of Mr. & Mrs. David and Shirley (Coffey) Boggs. He married Charlotte Bennett on December 14, 2007, in Burton, MI. Chuck enjoyed shooting guns and fishing. He will be remembered as fun loving, a prankster, and a great man. He will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Charlotte (Bennett) Boggs; two sons, Adam and wife Tamara Boggs, David and wife Keira Boggs; eight brothers and sisters, Bob Marland, Donald Marland, Penny Marland, Steve Marland, Melissa Tuttle, Michele Marland, David Boggs, Eric Marland; two grandchildren, Aiden Boggs, and Camden Boggs. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, David Boggs; and father Joseph Robert Marland. The family wants to make a special thank you to wife for her love and care to Charles and to the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Ann Arbor.
