Albert Boyd

Of Mt. Morris, age 80, died Sunday, November 3, 2013. A private Gathering of Remembrance will take place. Albert was born April 25, 1933, in Capels, West Virginia the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and Lilley (Baldwin) Boyd. He and Nancy McNeely were united in marriage July 23, 1956, in Welch, West Virginia. Sadly Nancy preceded him in death May, 19, 2013. Albert proudly served in the United States Navy for 4 years until receiving his honorable discharge September 10, 1955. Albert worked for General Motors in Flint for 38 years before his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, bowling, golfing, going to the casino to play slots, watching sports, crossword puzzles and traveling. Left to cherish his memory,six children, William (Frances), Duane (Susan), Timothy, Bruce (Collina), James and Debra (Bill) Wilson; 18 grandchildren, Will, Wayne, Michael, Brian, Heidi, Joseph, Bruce II, Steven, David (Tasheena), Curtis (Ashley) , Abby, Heather, Katie, Miranda, Deannie (Jack), Dawn (Steve), David (Amy) and Ray; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers-in-law, Tommy (Edna), Junebug (Marcy), Frank (Mary) and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, parents Lawrence and Lilley Boyd and four sibling.
