Alicia Marie Slack

Age, 43, of Flint, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026. A funeral service will take place at 1:30 pm, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services, 1194 E. Mt. Morris Rd. Mt. Morris, MI 48458. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell to officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Alicia’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:30 am until the time of service at 1:30 pm. Alicia Marie Slack was born on April 2, 1983, in Houston, Texas, to Cynthia Beck and Edwin Slack Jr. She graduated from Kearsley High School in 2001 and earned her CNA certification through the American Red Cross in 2012. Alicia was known for her fun-loving spirit and enjoyed spending time at the beach, tanning, listening to music, and being with friends. She loved riding motorcycles, and cooking, and had a special love for animals, especially dogs. Fashion and shopping were among her favorite pastimes, and she had a natural sense of style that reflected her confident and spirited personality

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kodie; her daughter, Makyah; her mother, Cynthia; her father, Edwin “Ed”; her brother, Joshua “J.R.” (Erica); and many beloved extended family members and friends.

Alicia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Joann Beck, Edwin Sr. and Leonna Slack; and several family members.

Alicia had a way of bringing laughter and light wherever she went, and she treasured the time she spent with the people she loved most. Her caring heart, strong spirit, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
