Arlene Jane Gore

Of Davison, age 96 passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care in Burton. In accordance with Arlene’s wishes, cremation will take place; there are no further services scheduled at this time. Arlene was born May 8, 1929, in Flint; she is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Howard and Eva (Blakeslee) Smith. She married the love of her life, Floyd Gore on March 17, 1963, in California. Sadly, Floyd preceded her in death on August 31, 2004. In her free time, Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family and friends crafting, especially crocheting, decoupage, playing Kings Corners, and camping in the mountains in Arizona.

Left to cherish her memory are her stepchildren: Larry Gore, Guy Gore, and Candy Livingston; sister, Betty Forest; niece, Sandy Hunt; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd; son, Larry; three siblings: Zelma, Arlo, and Ken; stepson, Randy Gore.
