Beverley Ann Severn

Age 83, of Flint, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. At a later date, Beverley will be laid to rest at Mount Morris Cemetery with her late husband, Gerald. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to the Alzheimer's Association . Beverley Ann Severn was born on December 31, 1942, in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. Augustus Scigliano and Ms. Dorothy Stevens. She graduated from Beecher High School in 1960. On June 25, 1960, two weeks after her high school graduation, she married the love of her life, Gerald Severn, at St. Francis in Flint, Michigan. The two shared 64 years of memories, happiness, and love. Sadly, Gerald preceded her in passing on January 21, 2025. She worked for McLaren Flint hospital as an administrator for almost 30 years until her well-earned retirement in 1998.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending her time outside tending to her yard and her garden. Not only would her garden flourish, she also tended to many different planters filled with beautiful flowers. Beverley was also a great cook, and an even better baker. Her family always looked forward to her spaghetti and meatball dinners she would prepare for special occasions. She also won the Flushing Harvest Festival baking contest with her famous apple pie. Beverley found peace in completing her crossword puzzles, shopping, and playing slot machines at the casino. She also kept active within her bowling league she was a member of with her daughter, Dina. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and creating memories she would cherish forever.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Tony Severn, Dina King and husband, Gregory; her grandchildren: Ashley, McKenna and boyfriend, Joey, Andrea and husband, Kody, Kyle and partner, Jodie Daggett; and her great-grandchildren: Lyllian, Logan, Ava, and Eli.

Beverley was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Gerald Severn; her parents; and her canine companions: Benji, Tashie, and Bud.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Lynette Grant for the time and care she provided to Delores, as well as the support provided to the family.
