Billy Hadley

Age 82, of Flint, died Friday, May 5, 2017, at Hurley Medical Center. A Memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 11:00 am at the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, 2350 E. Hemphill Rd. Burton, Michigan. Elder Russ Greenfield to officiate. Billy was born August 22, 1934, in Flint, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Eldrege and Ada (Rines) Hadley. He married Marlaine Grow on May 11, 1954, at Flint. He worked as a forklift driver at 7up for many years. He also delivered the Flint Journal Newspaper for over 40 years until 2010. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Marlaine (Grow) Hadley; six children: Warden Hadley, Billie Marie Faber, Robert (Barbara) Hadley, Suzanne (Danny) Shuman, Donald (Sherry) Hadley, and Paula (John) Stevens; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
