Cody (Kilana) LaBeff

Age 26, of Bossier City, Louisiana, formerly of Mt. Morris, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services, 1194 East Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, Michigan. Samantha Groom to officiate with cremation to follow. Family will be present to receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the service at 2:00pm. Cody (Kilana) Michael LaBeff was born on April 28, 1999, in Flint, Michigan, the child of Mr. Jerry LaBeff and Mrs. Jessica (Furden) Rocheleau. Educated locally, Cody attended Kearsley High School before transferring to Ignite Academy in Mt. Morris. While attending Ignite Academy, Cody found joy in their involvement with the robotics team. After completing high school, they worked as a service attendant within the hotel industry. Cody was known as a social butterfly, and would light up any room they walked into. They could make friends with anyone, no matter how they treated Cody. Living a life of pride, Cody was unapologetically themself, learning to disregard any judgement or negativity thrown their way. With a love for music, Cody would always sing and dance along to any of their favorite songs. In their free time, Cody enjoyed makeup, nails, and any other pampering Cody could do for themselves.

Left to cherish their memory is their mother: Jessica Rocheleau and husband, Kyle Bruff; their step-father: Robert Rocheleau; their siblings: Taylor Corkins, Brandon Richardson, Sam LaBeff, Miranda Rosas, Ari Rocheleau, Justin Rocheleau; their grandparents: Sally Wheeler, Arlene Furden, Debby and Roger Rocheleau; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

Cody was preceded in death by their father: Jerry LaBeff; and their grandfather: Matthew Wheeler.

Sadly, Cody’s grandfather; Mark Furden, passed away shortly after them on November 7, 2025.
