Dorothy was born on April 25, 1932, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Dottie (Kiefer) Clark. She attended Flint Northern High School and went on to build a strong work ethic that defined much of her life. Dorothy worked as an accountant at Genesee Packaging before later joining Walmart, where she served as an Inventory Specialist in the crafts department. Throughout her life, Dorothy worked tirelessly to provide for her family and was always caring and compassionate toward anyone in need. In her free time, she found joy in baking, arts and crafts, bingo, bowling, and even golf—where she proudly achieved a hole-in-one. Above all else, family was the center of Dorothy’s life, and her love and devotion to them never wavered.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Rick and Clark; her grandchildren, Candy (Glen), Brandon (Dawn), Mark (Danielle), and Rachel; and her great-grandchildren, Jakob, Ben, Sarah, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Ricky, Harley, Silas, Ashton, and Melody. She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Patti; her three brothers, Jim, Joe, and Charlie; and her former husband, Loyd.
Dorothy’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
