Dwight Olejnik

Age 68, of Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Dwight was born on January 21, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, the beloved son of Peter and Patricia (Sandy) Olejnik Sr. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Rebecca Olejnik, with whom he shared 25 wonderful years of marriage.

Dwight had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in hunting, camping with his family, and taking in the beauty of nature. He also had a passion for classic cars and proudly showcased his treasured vehicle at local car shows. Above all, Dwight cherished time spent with his family, creating memories that will be held close forever.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Dwight Olejnik II, and Eric Olejnik (Krysten Olejnik); his beloved grandchildren: Nathaniel Crow, Payton Crow-Meyer, Chloe Meyer, and Kaeden Meyer; his brother, Peter Olejnik Jr.; his sisters, Carla Jensen (John Jensen) and Tonia Reid; along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Patricia Olejnik, and his sister, Marlene Sandy.

Dwight will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of family, and his passion for the simple joys in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
