Edward Jackson Swain was born on October 15, 1979, in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rick and Kim (Faulkner) Kilbride. Educated locally, he obtained his GED from Atherton High School in 1998. Edward began working in the asphalt industry at the age of 16, having a strong work ethic until his passing. Edward worked as a foreman for Delta Paving, Inc. for over 20 years before the company sold to AMI. He met the love of his life, Christina Boyd, when they were both in high school. They would later marry on October 4, 2014. Together they had four daughters, to whom Edward cherished deeply.
In his free time, Edward loved working with his hands to repair and build new things. He would often be found building and restoring various items, such as shelves, tables, and much more. Edward would also collect different tools he would use on his projects. Edward also took pride in taking care of not only his own yard, but helping his mother with her yard. Though he lived a quiet life, he would not hesitate to help anyone in need.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Christina Swain; four daughters: Alyssa Swain, Mariah Swain and fiance, Caleb, Simone Swain, and Alexis Bowers; mother, Kim Kilbride; two aunts: Shelly Fox, Kelly Hart; uncle, Ed Faulkner; his grandmother, Kitty; cousin, Brian Fox; as well as many cherished friends and family members.
Edward was preceded in death by his father, Rick Kilbride; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Kay and Lanny Tinnin, Ed Faulkner; and his canine companion, Trixie.
