Emily Olsey

Of Mt. Morris, age 79, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. Emily was born March 4, 1930 in Mayville, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland and Grace (Sherman) Dickerson. She and George A. Olsey were united in marriage in 1952 at St. MichaelAaas Catholic Church in Flint. She worked at HerrimanAaas for 23 years, before retiring from Meijer in 2004. Emily leaves to chersih her memory three children Johnny Olsey and Lori Short, Mary and husband Anthony DuPuis, and Tom Olsey, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother Jim and wife Arthela Dickerson, and Glen Dickerson, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George A. Olsey, daughter in law Betty Olsey, four brothers and three sisters.
