Joan Marie Wurtz

Age 88, of Vassar, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022, at Birchwood Manor of Ann Arbor. Joan

was born May 31, 1934, in Saginaw, to Anne and Burnard Wisniewski. Joan married John Wurtz in

1966 and had 2 daughters, and moved to Vassar in 1973.

She is survived by her daughters: Lori (Tom) Heinlein and Jennifer Lackey, both of Dexter, granddaughters: Lauren and

Chandler Lackey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Art), and daughter, Sherri Lubbe.

Per Joan’s wishes, there will be no funeral and only a private burial with immediate family.
