Lavonne Sims

Age 98, of Genesee, died on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at McLaren-Flint. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. LaVonne was born June 11, 1918, in Flint, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ronald and Margaret (Parrett) Goudy. She and Clarence Sims were united in marriage on October 17, 1980. She was a member of the North Flint Kingdom of Jehovah’s Witness on Dodge Road. She retired from AC Spark Plug after 31 years of service. Left to cherish her memory are sons: Lee and wife, Kelly Crandall, Loren and wife, Virginia Crandall, and Dale and wife, Judy Crandall; grandchildren: Billy, Steven, Richard, Michael, and David Crandall, LeaAnn Frank, and Nancy Jerrell; 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister. There are no services scheduled at this time.
