Leroy Simons Jr.

Age 67, of Mt. Morris, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2026. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Leroy’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Leroy Simons Jr., was born on January 10, 1969, in Tawas, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Sr. and Doris Simons. Leroy was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Throughout his life, he held many different jobs, with his most recent being an owner-operator of his own semi-truck, hauling freight for various transportation companies. In his free time, he enjoyed playing video games, especially Skyrim, and had a remarkable talent for working with computers and electronics. Above all, Leroy loved spending time outdoors with a fishing pole in hand, happiest when he was casting a line and waiting for the next catch.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael (Jessica) Simons, and his sisters, Jana Bower and Penny Wouters. 

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Sr. and Doris; his brothers, Roy Simons, Harvey Simons and Lee Simon; and sisters, Helen Houfek, Rusty Ingersol, Susan Simons, and Kathy Shepard.
