Marc Adam Poe

Age 46, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Family and friends will gather at 2:00 pm to share memories of Marc. In accordance with Marc's wishes, cremation will take place. Marc’s family will be present at the funeral home on Thursday, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be shared on Marc’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.

Marc Adam Poe was born on March 28, 1979, in Flint, Michigan, to David Poe and Carlla Samuel. He graduated from high school and went on to study trade construction in college. Following his education, Marc built a career with General Motors, where he worked as a parts distributor. Outside of work, Marc had a wide range of interests that reflected both his creativity and his adventurous spirit. He enjoyed building Legos, cooking; especially baking his signature cheesecakes, and painting. He found peace and fulfillment in the outdoors, often traveling out west to hike and take in the beauty of nature. Among his many experiences, he had the opportunity to go on an elk hunt, and enjoyed hunting with a bow in general. Marc also treasured his trips to Kentucky taking in the different sights and visiting his good friend, Ted.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Taylor, Zachary, and Zayne; his parents: David Poe and Carlla Samuel; his brothers: Matthew, Christopher, and Nicholas; long time best friend Adam Howell; and many beloved extended family and friends.

Marc was preceded in death by his grandparents: Thomas G. and Kay Poe, Ernie and Lorna Tonkin; his great-grandmother: Boonie Poe; and his uncle: Raymond Tonkin (Uncle Buddy).
