Marie Tiers

Marie May Bleau Tiers, 82, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her home in Knightdale. She was born May 30, 1933 in Alpena, Michigan to the late Joseph and Mable Bleau. Marie was a childcare provider and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, James Leo "Jim" Tiers. Memorial Mass will take place 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow Woodlawn Cemetery. Surviving: children: Judy Zabelicky, Frank Manente, Theresa Leask, Christine Lane, Karen Slater, Audrey Lockhart, Ted Manente; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters and 4 brothers.
