Mary Elizabeth Aaberg was born on September 25, 1982, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carleton and Sheila (Shanks) Moore. Educated locally, Mary graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School in 2000. After graduating, Mary attended classes at Western Michigan University. She worked as a medical assistant for almost 20 years at Bronson Hospital. Mary was blessed with two beautiful daughters that she cherished deeply. She ensured her daughters were her top priority, always making sure to cheer them on with everything they did.
In her free time, Mary enjoyed participating in various activities. She loved cheering on her favorite sports teams, the Detroit Tigers and Dallas Cowboys. Mary would frequently visit Fife Lake and enjoy her time relaxing and fishing. With a love for animals, she would care for any strays that she came across, as well as feeding the birds in the area. Mary would relax by watching game shows, such as Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, as well as playing card games with her mom. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Abigail and Grace Aaberg, as well as their father, Chad; her parents: Carleton and Sheila Moore; her brother: Scott Moore and wife, Jessica; her nephew: Adam David Moore; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mary was preceded in death by her brother: Adam Carleton Moore; her grandparents: William and Mary Moore, John and Bessie Shanks; her dearest friend: Justina Bell; as well as her cherished furry companions: Nuunzio, Bella, and Chloe.
