Michael G. Csintyan

Age 85, of Mt. Morris, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Michael’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Michael was born in Flint, Michigan, on November 25, 1940, the son of Michael Sr. and Elizabeth (Zedo) Csintyan. He proudly served in the United States Navy, where he earned his GED and worked as an air traffic controller. During his naval service, he also experienced the memorable Pollywog-to-Shellback crossing-the-equator ceremony.

Following his honorable discharge, Michael began a long career with General Motors as a crank balancer. He also spent many hours at his father’s car lots, where he was always working on and fixing whatever needed attention. In June of 1966, Michael married the love of his life, Carol Ann, at Flint Park Methodist Church, beginning a marriage filled with love and devotion.

In his free time, Michael was a founding member of the Michigan Cruisers car club and was especially proud of his 1955 Chevy Bel Air, which he drove to countless car cruises. He also loved boating on the Great Lakes, traveling to towns across Michigan, and spending time with friends and family. When he wasn’t on the road or the water, Michael enjoyed watching action movies, drawing, and savoring life’s simple pleasures while relaxing on his back deck.

Michael is survived by his sons: Ricky (Jennifer) and William; his grandchildren: Andrew, Alexandria, Collin, Jacob, and Tyler; his great-grandchildren: Amalia and Lilah; and his brother: Timothy Csintyan.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Carol Ann; his parents: Michael Sr. and Elizabeth; his brother: Ron; and his best friend: Dave Purdy.
