Poem: When He Heard the Story the room was quiet, Christmas near, a gentle prayer, a voice sincere. Words of Jesus, kind and true, spoken softly as love always knew. No rushing signs, no troubled plea, Just calm and grace and dignity. A hand was held, a breath was drawn, and with that breath, his fear was gone. He heard of mercy, love so wide, of open arms and grace applied. And when the story reached his heart, He chose that moment to depart. No longer afraid, no longer alone, He followed the voice that called him home. Held by God, in peace and light, He rested then — and all was right.
