Michele Thompson

Age 65, of Clio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Michele’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Mrs. Samantha Groom will officiate. In accordance with Michele’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Michele’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.

Michele was born in Flint, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Noe (Bloomer) Middleditch. Educated locally, she graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School with the Class of 1979. Throughout her life, Michele worked as a bartender at several establishments, was employed at the Bavarian Inn, and provided in-home care for others. Her work reflected her outgoing personality, strong work ethic, and genuine desire to help people.

Michele enjoyed camping, swimming, spending time near the water, and working in her yard. Halloween was one of her favorite holidays, and she had a special love for horror movies. Above all, she cherished spending time with family and friends. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Michele freely gave her time and energy, whether helping with yard work, power washing, caring for others, or simply being there when someone needed her. Her generous heart, caring nature, and willingness to help others touched countless lives. She will be remembered for the love she shared and the many ways she made a difference to those around her.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Marilyn (Adam) Morgan, Michael, and Steven Thompson; brother, Stephen (Kathy) Middleditch; “The Dream Squad”; and many other family members and friends.

Michele was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Brad Middleditch; and her significant other, Dave Mims.
