Nancy Kerrison-Stimac

Of Gladwin, age 68, died, Friday, April 24, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Private burial will take place at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Nancy was born April 20, 1947, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Nadine (Owen) Kerrison. She and Robert Stimac were united in marriage on September 22, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from Mt. Morris schools and finished her education at Central Michigan University with a bachelor degree in Nursing. She retired from McLaren as a case manager in 2003. She enjoyed golfing, sewing, baking, and tending to her flowers. Nancy was a kind, caring, and practical wife and friend to many. She will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memory is her husband; nieces and nephews: Brent Stimac, Wade Stimac, Jeff Stimac, William Kerrison III, and Becky Beck. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William Kerrison II.
