Patricia Bovan

Our sweet, sassy Mom has earned her wings. Patsy Jean Berube-Bovan passed peacefully July 28, 2025. Patsy was born April 28, 1936, the youngest of ten in Munising, Michigan, to Ovid and Lenore (LeClaire) Berube. She and James Bovan were united in marriage on March 24, 1956. 

Patsy was a devoted Mother, Grandma and GG. She enjoyed reading, gardening, listening to music and listening to her great grandchildren sing to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, sisters Alice, Genevieve, Blanche, Marie, Frances and Lois. Brothers Ovid, Jack, and Joseph. 

Left to cherish their wonderful memories are her children: Constance (Phil) Kruzan, Francis Bovan, Jane (John) Hock, Marc (Nita) Bovan; grand children: Jeremy (Paula) Hock, Andrea (Jason) Hong, Justine (Jon Butler) Hock, and Tyler Bovan; great-grandchildren: Nathaniel and Samantha Hock, Dylan and Mason Hong, Alden Butler, Connor Bovan and many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed. Love you Mom.In accordance with Patsy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place 11:00 am, Monday, September 8, 2025, in Munising, Michigan.
