Peggy Tomlinson

Of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. With burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 12:00noon until 9:00pm. In lieu of flowers please direct memorial contributions to a charity of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Peggy was born February 25, 1932 in Caro, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Edith (Briggs) Tennant. She and Blakney Earl Tomlinson were united in marriage May 13, 1950. Peggy leaves to cherish her memory, husband Blakney; three children, Sharon Kay (Raymond) Seifert, Donald Richard, Scott Chris; three grandchildren, Carrie, Brian and Jacquelyn; two great-grandchildren, twins Brianna and Hannah; one brother, Richard (Joan) Tennant; two sisters, Bonnie Graham and Hazel (Bill) Mitchell-Robbins; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her two children; Blake Jr., Annabelle Lee; her parents, Richard and Edith; two brothers, Douglas and Bill; four sisters, Pauline, Claudia, Betsy (Dean) and Doris.
