Richard Graydon Riley was born on May 28, 1969, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. Roland Riley and Mrs. Gloria Walker-Golembiewski. Educated locally, Rik attended Millington High School, and then Flushing High School to which he obtained his GED. He would go on to attend some classes in computer science at Baker College. Though he faced many challenges medically, he didn’t let his illness inhibit his happiness. Rik was known for being a light in the darkness and would offer help to anyone who was in need. His soul was kind, and the care he felt for everyone is truly irreplaceable. Out of everyone though, he had a special place in his heart for his mother. In his free time, Rik found his peace through music. He would always listen to new music and found his passion in music production.

“Though I may look alone, I am surrounded by angels.”

Left to cherish his memory is his mother: Gloria Walker-Golembiewski and husband, Dean Golembiewski; his siblings: John Knickerbocker and longtime partner, Lacey Uhelski, Amy Palmer and husband, Curtis, Sharyl Stein, Tim Riley, David Jones, Kylie Riley, Keith Riley; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

Rik was preceded in death by his brother: Mike Riley; and his grandparents: Ina (Walker) DeRocher, and Graydon Walker.
