Rodney Creel

Age 39, of Vassar died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at his home in Vassar. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Vassar Eagles #2380, 651 State Rd, Vassar, Michigan; with Pastor Paul McNett officiating with dinner immediately following. Rodney's family will receive friends Tuesday, February 16, 2016, from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Vassar Eagles #2380. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rodney’s name to Zander's College Fund. Rodney was born October 8, 1976, in Saginaw, Michigan. The son of Mr. & Mrs. Rodney Creel and Elizabeth (Covert) Atwood. Rodney was employed by Orchid Unique in Bridgeport. He was a dedicated family man and loved races. He is survived by his wife: Kelly (Carter) Creel, one daughter, Cordelia and one son, Zander; father, Rodney Creel; mother, Elizabeth (Covert) Atwood; one sister, Kaleena and one brother, Cory; step-father, Bill Atwood; grandmother, Glenor; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
