Scott Allen Rygg

Age 60, of Mt. Morris, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Flint. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Scott’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Scott Allen Rygg was born on November 19, 1964, in Superior, Wisconsin, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawerance and Janice (Kraft) Rygg. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Scott had a passion for being outdoors fishing, camping, and being out on a boat. Throughout his life he enjoyed his work as an EMT and security guard. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Left to cherish his memory are his four children: Ashley Marlin, Melissa Rygg, Gregory Rygg, and estranged son, Justin Rygg; his former wife: Coleen Rygg; his grandchildren: Ariana Marlin, and Hunter Marlin; his best friends: Rick Steel, and Jason Kusky.

Scott was preceded in passing by his sons: Michael Rygg, Jonathan Rygg; his mother: Janice Rygg; and his brother: Thomas Rygg.
