Sharon Ann Pfeiffer (Corcoran), 83, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family she cherished above all else, following a debilitating bout with dementia. Born into a lively household of twelve children in Mt Morris, she grew up grounded in her Irish heritage and her deep Catholic faith—two foundations that shaped her entire life.
A devoted mother of five, Sharon poured her heart into raising her family, celebrating every milestone, and showing up for every game, concert, ceremony, and gathering. Nothing brought her more happiness than being with her children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren. They all knew the family rule: behave yourselves, or Grandma would “break your arm”—a line delivered with pretended force that will be repeated for generations.
Sharon found happiness in simple, meaningful pleasures: traveling, spending time “up north,” riding ATVs, exploring antique shops and making beautiful rosaries that she shared with those she loved and others all over the world. Her friendships were many, but her family was everything.
Her legacy is one of faith, loyalty, humor, and fierce love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She is survived by her husband Dan, her five children: Michael, Marie, Mary, Billy and Molly, more grandchildren than she could ever count correctly, and a growing new generation of great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the hospice team from Compassus, especially Meredith and Becca—they were amazing.

The family invites all who attend to wear something green in honor of Mom’s Irish heritage.
