Steven Engstrom

Age 50, of Byron, passed away in his home on Saturday, May 3, 2025. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Steven’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Steven Arthur Engstrom was born on March 15, 1975, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. Gary Engstrom and Mrs. Mary Ann (Smith) Crock. Educated locally, Steven attended Central High School in Flint. Steven enjoyed fishing at Kearsley Lake and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles with his father. He was very family-oriented, he was the primary caretaker for his father, Gary, until his passing in December of 2020. In his free time, Steven enjoyed playing video games, watching YouTube videos, and listening to music. Most of all, Steven was a kind-hearted soul. He would make an impact on all he would meet.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother: Mary Ann Crock; his sister: Stephie Engstrom; his aunt: Carol Lucas; his uncle: Ted Engstrom; his furry companion: Sammie; as well as many beloved cousins.

Steven is preceded in death by his father: Gary Engstrom; his uncle: Durrel Lucas; and his grandparents: Arthur and Hazel Engstrom.
