Wilma Simms

Wilma Simms, age 87, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, May 19, 2016. In accordance with Wilma’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private burial of cremated remains will be announced at a later date. Wilma was born October 24, 1928, in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Erving and Ida (Angel) Joplin. She was married to Howard Simms; sadly, he preceded her in death on May 10, 1977. She is survived by three sons: Terry and wife, Roxann Simms, Randy Simms, and Howard "Butch" and wife, Andrea Simms; she also has eleven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents Erving and Ida Joplin, husband Howard Simms, and her brother John Burgy.
