Obituary of Jill Marie Linton
Age 66 years, of Clio, passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2024, at McLaren Hospital with her family by her side. A Funeral Service will take place 5:00 pm, Friday, March 29, 2024, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Jill's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 5:00 pm. In accordance with Jill's wishes, cremation will take place. Jill was born on Tuesday, November 19, 1957, in Atlas, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin and Suzanne (Daniels) Gritzinger. Jill grew up in Davison and lived there most her adult life until she moved to Clio where she has lived for the past 25 years. Jill worked in retail and production for most of her working career. She also studied to become a Pharmacy Tech while working at Diplomat Speciality Pharmacy. However, she spent most of her life providing food and spirits along with many laughs behind a bar somewhere. She absolutely adored working with the public, and making a new friend every chance she had. Jill was a long-time member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3609 in Clio. In her free time, Jill enjoyed shooting pool, gardening, traveling, crafting, watching sports, boating, and being social. Jill also enjoyed completing word puzzles, playing board games and shooting dice with friends while enjoying a few adult beverages. Despite many tribulations throughout her lifetime, Jill was a genuinely happy person who enjoyed making others around her happy.
Jill was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, and a couple very close girl friends.
